PLANNING YOUR ITINERARY

There are numerous ways in which you could choose to explore the beauty of Africa. Several of our itineraries can be combined to form long tours. For those who have limited time, you can combine one of our many Fly In packages with any of our tours.

Anti-malaria precautions are recommended for all tours and clients are advised to bring insect repellent.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Please insert your special requirements on the booking form when booking and reconfirm before departure. If you have any special dietary requirements, allergies or intolerances, it is important we know before departure to arrange any of these special requests.

COLLECTION/DROP OFF POINTS

Collection points can be arranged at most accommodation establishments (not private residences) in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Nelspruit and Cape Town for certain tours. We will drop you off at the same accommodation establishment unless stipulated to the offices beforehand or to the guide on tour. Please insert your collection point into the booking form when booking and reconfirm before departure. This will enable us to collect you in a timely manner.

ONWARD TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

It is important to ensure that your onward travel arrangements are made before you depart, as these arrangements can be difficult to organise whilst on tour. Please ensure that all onward flights are booked for the day after the return date on the tour.

TRAVEL INFORMATION FOR YOUR BENEFIT

YOU’RE PASSPORT

Your passport must have sufficient pages for all visas that may be required en-route. Your passport should have one page free for every country to be visited and needs to be valid for at least six months after your departure from Africa. It is also advisable that you have a copy of your passport and keep it separately. You are responsible for and must ensure your passport, visas and/or other travel documents are in order.

YOU’RE VISAS

Please note that visas are the responsibility of the traveller and that we will not be held responsible for clients being denied entry if the clients does not have the relevant visas. As visa requirements can differ significantly, please contact the various embassies or a visa service agent for up-to-date visa requirements and do this timorously. Clients must keep applicable onward/return tickets as proof, enabling the traveller to leave the country in which the tour concludes or proof of sufficient funds enabling you, the client, to purchase an onward ticket to leave the country. Be sure to have a multiple entry visa, for the relevant tours, to facilitate re-entry into the country.

WHAT TO BRING

Your luggage is limited to one small suitcase or backpack and one daypack. If additional luggage is needed, then please contact the office to make special arrangements for the extra luggage. We can not guarantee facilitating these types of requests, but will do our utmost to assist.
