  • Johannesburg to Kruger National Park
    An early start as we leave the city of gold and make our way through the Mpumalanga province en route to the Kruger National Park. As we enter through one of the Southern gates we begin our search for the many species of birds, mammals and reptiles that inhabit the Park. This Park is home to a wide diversity of animals including Africa's Big Five. Our game drive takes us to our campsite, where we board an open safari vehicle and head out on an exciting night drive. Evening to be spent camping within Kruger. (D)

  • Kruger National Park to Kruger National Park
    An early morning game drive takes us along some of the best game drive routes that Kruger has to offer. Sunrise at a waterhole offers scenes straight out of National Geographic. The entire day is spent game viewing, bird watching and stopping off at the various waterholes en route to our next camp. Evening to be spent relaxing around the campfire reminiscing about the day's events. (BLD)

  • Kruger National Park to Panoramic Route/Nyani
    We take our final game drive in Kruger before heading up the Drakensberg Escarpment and spend the day visiting the scenic sights along the panoramic route. These sights include God's Window, Bourke's Luck Potholes and the magnificent Three Rondawels at the Blyde River Canyon. From here we journey on to a Shangaan Tribal Village where a guided tour gives you an insight into the culture and traditions of the local Shangaan people. We enjoy an exciting evening of tribal dancing, singing and a traditional African dinner. Overnight in traditional huts. (BLD)

  • Panoramic Route/Nyani to Makopane
    We depart the village after breakfast and head towards the town of Makopane where we overnight en route to Botswana. (BD)

    We cross into Botswana and continue to Nata where we camp at the edge of Makgadikgadi Pans. (BD)

    We arrive in Livingstone and venture out on a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. The following day is spent on optional activities, including white water rafting, bungy jumping, microlighting, jet boating or a "flight of angels" We explore the town, its markets and visit the Victoria Falls. The vehicles we make use of range from semi-luxury minibuses, our new fleet of Safari trucks to our state of the art open 4x4 Landcruisers. The Bundu Safari vehicles have been custom designed to give the optimum in space, comfort and reliability. They have been specially constructed with large opening windows and viewing hatches to ensure the best possible photographic and game viewing opportunities.

There are numerous ways in which you could choose to explore the beauty of Southern Africa. Several of our itineraries can be combined to form longer tours. For those who have limited time,you can combine one of our many fly-in packages with any of our tours. What To Bring The Bundu Safari Company provides all general camping equipment while on Safari. Clients are however advised to bring the following:Insect repellant, flashlight, binoculars, camera, sun hat, sunscreen, warm clothing for open vehicle game drives, comfortable walking shoes, towels and pillow. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended for all our safaris.
Wagon Trails specializes in small group adventure travel and overland tours offering a variety of unique and exciting itineraries ranging from a 7 day right up to a 40 day overland trip encompassing Southern and Eastern Africa.
The most important link between our company and our clients are our guides. Our guides are African born and bred and are friendly, knowledgeable and are qualified and registered with all the guiding bodies. Most important is that they have a passion for Africa and its people.
All vehicles carry a comprehensive medical kit and a complete set of tools. All vehicles follow a strict maintenance plan and are all fully certified by the South African Transport Board and carry the necessary transport permits and insurances. We provide all camping and cooking equipment and all equipment is checked and maintained on a regular basis, thus adding to a smooth running tour. Sleeping bags are available to hire if needed.
