Bundu Safaris Logo

We have made adventure tours into Africa an undisputable success. We can proudly attribute our popularity to providing small group overland travel opportunities to travelers wanting a more personalised experience. Wagon Trails offers highly affordable packages without skimping on the luxuries, highlights or activities.
Our guides are friendly, knowledgeable and are qualified and registered with all the guiding bodies. Most important is that they have a passion for Africa and its people. Being involved in the safari industry for 10 years now, we have established a good working relationship with many of the National Parks on our itineraries.
There are numerous ways in which you could choose to explore the beauty of Southern Africa. Several of our itineraries can be combined to form longer tours. For those who have limited time, you can combine one of our many fly-in packages with any of our tours. What To Bring The Bundu Safari Company provides all general camping equipment while on Safari. Clients are however advised to bring the following:Insect repellant, flashlight, binoculars, camera, sun hat, sunscreen, warm clothing for open vehicle game drives, comfortable walking shoes, towels and pillow. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended for all our safaris.
We have the right combinations to make your African experience an unforgettable one.
Our varying itineraries not only combine the important elements of scenic, cultural and wildlife experiences but also add a taste of adventure and in some instances pure adrenalin.
We are the proud owners of the Bundu Safari Lodge, situated amongst world renowned Private Game Reserves and a semi-luxury tented camp in a private concession within the Southern Kruger Park.
Welcome to our magical Continent! Through a desire to share our passion for Africa with like-minded adventurers, we established The Bundu Safari Company.
Our vehicles ensure easy access into those remote areas large trucks cannot reach, whilst providing you with the comfort, efficiency and speed of a small group.
The Bundu Safari Company believes in the philosophy of responsible tourism. It is a philosophy designed to bring about constructive social, cultural, environmental and economic consequences to the areas in which we operate.
A signed and completed booking form must be sent to Bundu or its agent together with a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the tour price. The balance of the tour fare is to be paid 28 working days prior to the date of departure.
All vehicles carry a comprehensive medical kit and a complete set of tools. All vehicles follow a strict maintenance plan and are all fully certified by the South African Transport Board and carry the necessary transport permits and insurances. We provide all camping and cooking equipment and all equipment is checked and maintained on a regular basis, thus adding to a smooth running tour. Sleeping bags are available to hire if needed.
The vehicles we make use of range from semi-luxury minibuses, our new fleet of Safari trucks to our state of the art open 4x4 Landcruisers. The Bundu Safari vehicles have been custom designed to give the optimum in space, comfort and reliability. They have been specially constructed with large opening windows and viewing hatches to ensure the best possible photographic and game viewing opportunities.
The Bundu Safari team is African born and bred. As owner run, we pride ourselves in service excellence at all times and are members of the various tourism governing authorities SATSA, FGASA, THETA, SATOUR and CAPTOUR. Operating with smaller groups we offer personalised and reasonably priced tours.
With a single microbus, we began operating safaris into the Kruger National Park.
At the beginning 2005 we expanded to incorporate Wagon Trails Adventure Holidays into our portfolio of companies.
