    Extras The local payment is in US Dollars cash on departure. Due to fluctuating exchange rates in many African countries, local suppliers fix their rates in US Dollars. The local payment goes directly to the local companies who organise excursions, entrance fees and food. It is not a kitty for food alone but pays your way throughout the tour

    We cross into Botswana and continue to Nata where we camp at the edge of Makgadikgadi Pans. (BD)

  • Nata to Livingstone
    We arrive in Livingstone and venture out on a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi River. The following day is spent on optional activities, including white water rafting, bungy jumping, microlighting, jet boating or a "flight of angels" We explore the town, its markets and visit the Victoria Falls.   • Victoria Falls to Chobe
    We depart from Livingstone and journey to Kasane where we set up camp on the banks of the Chobe River. The afternoon is spent relaxing or enjoying an optional game cruise on the Chobe River.(BD)

    Up at daybreak, we venture out on an open vehicle game drive into the famous Chobe National Park. After breakfast, we depart for Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta.(BD)

    We venture into the wilderness of the Delta; greeted by the local guides in mokoros (traditional dugout canoes), we explore the pristine waters of the Delta by mokoro and enjoy game walks in search of the abundant wildlife that inhabits this oasis in an otherwise arid region. We set up camp on an island in the Delta and enjoy our evenings under the African skies. (BLD)

  • Okavango Delta to Maun
    We leave behind the tranquillity and memories offered by the Delta on our last mokoro trip before transferring back to Maun. This afternoon you have the option of a game flight over the Delta, giving you a superb view of the waterways and wildlife. (BD)

  • Maun to Khama Rhino Sanctuary
    We depart from Maun and head for the Khama Rhino Sanctuary, where we spend the evening camping within the reserve. (BLD)

Being involved in the safari industry for 10 years now, we have established a good working relationship with many of the National Parks on our itineraries.
Our custom designed safari vehicles are state of the art and allow for the most enjoyable game viewing experiences.

There are numerous ways in which you could choose to explore the beauty of Southern Africa. Several of our itineraries can be combined to form longer tours. For those who have limited time,you can combine one of our many fly-in packages with any of our tours. What To Bring The Bundu Safari Company provides all general camping equipment while on Safari. Clients are however advised to bring the following:Insect repellant, flashlight, binoculars, camera, sun hat, sunscreen, warm clothing for open vehicle game drives, comfortable walking shoes, towels and pillow. Malaria prophylaxis is strongly recommended for all our safaris.
With a single microbus, we began operating safaris into the Kruger National Park.
Magnificent scenery such as the Kruger Park, Blyde River Canyon, Drakensburg Mountains, Kwa-Zulu Natal coastline, Swaziland, Cape Town, Wild Coast, Garden Route, Victoria Falls, Okavango Delta are just a few of the possible sights. Our varying itineraries not only combine the important elements of scenic, cultural and wildlife experiences but also add a taste of adventure and in some instances pure adrenalin.
So whether it be tracking Africas Big Five from an open 4x4 vehicle or on foot, the experience of gaining insight into Africas varying cultures and traditions, the thrill of jumping off the worlds highest bungee or rafting one of Africas wildest rivers or simply relaxing while taking in Africas awe inspiring beauty.
At the beginning 2005 we expanded to incorporate Wagon Trails Adventure Holidays into our portfolio of companies.
The Bundu Safari Company specializes in authentic camping, Private Game Lodge, Tailor-made and Fly-In safaris.
A signed and completed booking form must be sent to Bundu or its agent together with a non-refundable deposit of 20% of the tour price. The balance of the tour fare is to be paid 28 working days prior to the date of departure.
