Wagon Trails specializes in small group adventure travel and overland tours offering a variety of unique and exciting itineraries ranging from a 7 day right up to a 40 day overland trip encompassing Southern and Eastern Africa.

Our vehicles ensure easy access into those remote areas large trucks cannot reach, whilst providing you with the comfort, efficiency and speed of a small group.

Our small groups are unique in overlanding. All our minibus vehicles carry 9 people maximum and are fitted with trailers; our custom-built safari vehicles carry a maximum of 16 people.

So whether it is tracking dangerous game on foot, the thrill of jumping off the worlds highest bungee or rafting one of Africas wildest rivers, we have the right combinations to make your African experience an unforgettable one.

All vehicles carry a comprehensive medical kit and a complete set of tools. All vehicles follow a strict maintenance plan and are all fully certified by the South African Transport Board and carry the necessary transport permits and insurances. We provide all camping and cooking equipment and all equipment is checked and maintained on a regular basis, thus adding to a smooth running tour. Sleeping bags are available to hire if needed.
